Phuket:Beach walk with elephants, rain & care. 2.5 hours
1.Beach walk with elephants, rain & care. 2.5 hours
At Lily Elephant Camp in Yamu, Phuket, you’ll hear about elephant care, feed the animals, walk with them for 15 to 20 minutes, and help bathe and brush them at a private beach. The 2.5-hour visit also includes making herb-based vitamin balls. English- and Thai-speaking guides lead the program; Kim is one guide you may meet.

“Great tour, elephants enjoy taking baths and being brushed by tourists, we gave them shower afterwards and made food for them... For anyone thinking that this is not ethical- keep in mind that these elephants could not survive in the nature cause they were raised in captivity( these are elephants that were previously used for labour, some were injured by previous owners)...they spent their all lives with people...claiming that this is not ethical is same like claiming we should all release our dogs and cats into the wild and never pet them again....we all agree that using animals for enrertainment should be banned and hoefully it will be banned in…”
